The latest recording featuring the combined talents of our Pipe Band, Southern Aire, and former members of the U.S. Air Force Pipe Band. It was released in 2003 on compact disc.
The United States Air Force Reserve Pipe Band is not only the oldest, but the only pipe band assigned to an active duty military band in the entire Department of Defense. The pipe band has led the Band of the United States Air Force Reserve during many memorable national and world events.
As the only ensemble of its kind in the Air Force Band Program, Southern Aire has delighted audiences nationwide with their high-energy Celtic rock songs. The diverse talents of these musicians and their enthusiasm for this style of music have made it one of the most requested groups in the Band of the United States Air Force Reserve.
