Staff Sergeant Jeremy D. Cohen performs on clarinet, bass clarinet and baritone saxophone in the Band of the Air Force Reserve Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, and Jazz Ensemble. Sergeant Cohen also serves as the assistant director of operations for the concert band.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Sergeant Cohen graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1989. He continued his studies at the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, and at West Texas A & M University, where he earned a Master's Degree in Music. Prior to enlisting in the Air Force, Sergeant Cohen taught public school as a band director for eight years. In addition to his Air Force duties Sergeant Cohen has been bass clarinetist with the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra since 2000 and 2nd clarinet with the Ocmulgee Symphony Orchestra since 2006. Sergeant Cohen's recent performances include 11 shows of "Anything Goes" with Theater Macon and a flute/bass clarinet duet at the 2012 International Clarinet Association Clarinetfest. His primary teachers include Doug Graham, Doug Storie, John Kurokowa, and Dr. Chris Ayer.

Sergeant Cohen entered the Air Force September 2005 and was assigned to the
Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
