Technical Sergeant Steven Moore

Technical Sergeant Steven Moore is the NCOIC of Productions for the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He is also the drum major for the Ceremonial and Bagpipe Bands. Sergeant Moore serves as the Duty Sergeant for the Band.

In January 1991, Sergeant Moore began his military career with the United States Marine Corps at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina. He has been stationed in Little Creek, Virginia; Albany, Georgia; MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii;  and Cherry Point, North Carolina. During his time in the Marine Corps, he served as a saxophonist, sound technician, vocalist, auxiliary percussionist, fire team leader, squad leader, platoon sergeant, and enlisted conductor. After a brief separation from the Marine Corps, Sergeant Moore joined the Air Force as an audio and lighting technician and was assigned to the USAF Band of the Golden West, Travis Air Force Base, California. While stationed there, he performed for the Oakland A's and Raiders games and also the 60th Anniversary of the Air Force Ball featuring Jay Leno. Sergeant Moore was assigned to the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Robins AFB, Georgia in July 2010.
